Ford 351 Cleveland Serial Number Location Code

351 Cleveland Serial Number Location

I have a 1970 Mach 1 M code, May ’70 build. I’ve read elsewhere that Clevelands of this vintage have an engine number stamped on the top of the block at the rear on the drivers side straight down from the valve cover where the bell housing meets the block. I have seen photos of this on an engine on a stand, but it is very hard to see with the engine in situ.
An engineer’s report on my car states that the engine number is F19198 and I have been researching to authenticate and understand these numbers but can’t find any references to engine numbers on the net.
My VIN is 0F05M191089
Can anyone please advise?
